After the success of the Spice Girls reunion tour, rumor has it that the next girl group making their surprise comeback is Destiny’s Child!
In a report by The Sun, a music insider spilled the tea that Beyonce is secretly having talks with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to get the group back together. The trio will allegedly create brand new music and embark on a tour across the US and Europe by next year, just in time for the group’s 20th Anniversary since Michelle joined!
“Beyonce has been desperate to get the girls back together with her in the studio and she can’t think of a better time than 2020, when they will be marking two decades as one of the world’s biggest all-female groups. She saw the success of the Spice Girls tour and wants to replicate that — but far bigger and better,” the source claimed.
“They are one of the very few groups where love for them has only grown since they went on hiatus in 2006, so the demand is massive,” they added.
This aforementioned “massive demand” can be proven by how the group made headlines everywhere for holding a mini-concert during Beyonce’s legendary Coachella performance in 2018, treating the crowd to a few of their top hits: “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier.”
