Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Denice Lao returns with her first Filipino single, ‘Araw at Buwan.’ The song tackles the insecurities of one-sided love through playing with metaphors likening the characters of the song’s narrative to the sun and the moon.
Now out in all platforms like Spotify and Youtube, Denice is also hosting a single and music video launch gig on March 14 at Baked Studios with two sets. Playing with the theme of the song, the intimate launch will have two sets with varying timeslots, an Araw Set at 3:00PM and a Buwan Set at 6:00 PM. The launch will be featuring Anna Aquino and Julie Samonte of Blind Stereo Moon as part of the line-up and Denice’s friends, Kim Manansala, Elman Amolo and Archival Gan will play her original songs alongside her.
To celebrate her first Filipino-language release, she partnered with local brands like clothing brand, Re-Clothing and Baked Studios.
