Singer-songwriter Denice Lao sings about overthinking love with her latest single, Overthink.
Reminiscent of puppy love, the song speaks about the magnified emotions when going through infatuation. Unlike her previous releases like Araw at Buwan, Just Got Home, and Breathe, Overthink is an upbeat song that plays on theatrical elements and exhibits happy and sarcastic tones.
The single was also released with a fun video that brings back the singer to her “childish” days through playing with toys and wearing fun hats and glasses. Check out the video below:
The song is set to have an acoustic version in December. Denice Lao is also the co-host and co-creator of the Song In Focus podcast.
