Manila’s student dance community is once again called to rise as Defiance Season 3 returns with bigger stakes, bolder performances, and a powerful challenge: Do you have what it takes to defy the odds? Set to take place on March 15, 2026 at the FEU Tech Gymnasium, this year’s competition promises a full day of explosive movement, music, and unfiltered passion.
Organized by the FEU Institute of Technology through Artist Connection–Exude Dancers, Defiance Season 3 continues its mission of creating a strong platform for student dancers to express themselves, push their limits, and claim their space on stage. What started as a homegrown initiative has now evolved into one of the most anticipated inter-school dance competitions among young performers.
Defiance Season 3 is open to both Basic Education and Tertiary Division crews, welcoming dancers from junior high, senior high, and college levels. With two divisions competing in one high-energy day, the event highlights the diversity of styles, perspectives, and creative voices present in today’s student dance scene.
Raising the intensity even further, Defiance Season 3 offers a total of ₱120,000 worth of cash prizes, making it one of the most rewarding student-led dance competitions in the scene today. But beyond the prizes, crews compete for recognition, respect, and the pride of representing their schools in front of a live audience that thrives on raw energy and authenticity.
Registration for competing crews is open until March 6, 2026, giving teams a final window to claim their spot in this year’s showdown. As the stage gets ready and crews lock in their routines, one thing is certain: Defiance III will be a night where limits are tested, voices are amplified, and dancers truly defy the odds.
The competition will be divided into two shows. The Basic Education Division opens its doors at 12:00 NN, with the show starting at 1:00 PM, setting the tone for the day with youthful energy and fearless performances. The Tertiary Division follows in the evening, opening at 5:00 PM with showtime at 6:00 PM, bringing a more intense and elevated level of competition to close the night.
