Fans of Jessica Jones, we have great news for you: David Tennant, who plays the dastardly villain Kilgrave, will return for season two!
The news was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, which posted a photo of Tennant with Krysten Ritter, the actress who plays Jones.
Jessica Jones is a Marvel superhero who quit the superhero life to start a detective agency. The Netflix series premiered on November 20, 2015 to critical acclaim.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, “Jessica Jones builds a multifaceted drama around its engaging antihero, delivering what might be Marvel’s strongest TV franchise to date.”

Jessica Jones is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which culminated in the Netflix crossover show The Defenders, which also stars the cast of other MCU shows on Netflix like Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
