David Licauco’s grandfather, Jaime Licauco, has passed away.

In a social media post, the actor expressed his grief and paid tribute to his beloved grandfather, sharing heartfelt photos of them together.
“The wisest man I knew — always chasing greatness, always sharing his wisdom. Thank you for the life talks, the lessons, the power of your mind. I’ll hold them close, always. Rest easy, lolo (grandfather),” he wrote.
Born on July 25, 1940, Jaime is an author, lecturer, parapsychologist, and newspaper columnist.
According to his profile, he graduated from San Beda College in Manila and earned a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
Widely regarded as the Philippines’ foremost authority on inner mind development, creative and intuitive management, paranormal phenomena, and Philippine mysticism, he has authored 17 books and numerous articles on these subjects over the past 25 years.
Jaime has also lectured before various medical groups and appeared on both local and international television and radio programs.
