Who says it’s too early to celebrate the holiday season?
Former “GLEE” star Darren Criss just surprised fans and friends with the announcement of his very first Christmas album which will be filled with covers, original songs, and many collaborations!
Titled “A Very Darren Crissmas,” his album was described to be a project that’s very reflective of who he is and what he loves most about the holidays. The cover photo shows him dressed as different members of his family hanging out by the grand piano and the Christmas tree while surrounded with presents and real framed photos of his loved ones.

“I always knew that if I ever made a Christmas album, it would have to be much more than just a collection of songs you already knew,” the 34-year-old actor told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. “I’d want it to be a journey through songs that not only had a personal significance to my life, but also a unique introduction to songs folks had never heard before, and a re-introduction to a few they might think they know – but have never considered differently.”
“Every eclectic choice led this album to feel astutely true to its namesake: a very, indisputably, ‘me’ Christmas,” he added.

“A Very Darren Crissmas” will be out on October 8, 2021, and is already available for pre-order.
