Looks like this traffic enforcer isn’t just the Dancing Queen, she’s also The Flash!
Netizen Edith dela Cruz posted about Ms. Imelda dela Rosa Pante, known for dancing while managing traffic on Boni Avenue, and her heroic deed!
As if standing under the blistering heat of the sun while keeping on a smile and moving to the groove while making sure traffic runs smoothly was not a daunting challenge enough, this remarkable woman went out of her way in the service of others. Now this is a public servant fully committed to her duty.
According to the Facebook post:
Sabi nila hindi daw ito papansinin ni Mayor Abalos kasi busy sa campaign period.i don’t think so. Ms. IMELDA DELA ROSA PANTE the dancing queen on Boni Ave,goes far beyond her duty as a traffic enforcer last Dec 12 when she ran after a snatcher,all by herself,from Boni Shell station up to P.dela Cruz St., Old Zaniga. Ang layo nun,ha? The snatcher was jailed. Thanks to this dancing queen. She don’t just dance,she runs and kicks too. Let’s give her the proper commendation accorded for her. May your tribe increase.
