Cupcakes by Sonja has a new store!

When in Manila, Makati-dwellers now need not go far to enjoy the most popular cupcakes in the metro! Cupcakes by Sonja, the notoriously famous cupcake shop by Sonja Ocampo that has started the national cupcake frenzy back in 2007, has just opened a brand-spankin’ new store at the new Glorietta. Cupcake lovers in the sprawling Makati CBD can now have their fix of Cupcakes by Sonja‘s sinfully enticing selection of cupcakes just a few blocks away! Being a cupcake lover myself, this was absolutely good news to me. You see, Cupcakes by Sonja and I, we go way back – my Instagram feed is a testament to that.

Ever since I first tried Sonja’s decadent cupcakes back in high school, Cupcakes by Sonja has been my go-to place for a sweet treat that always hits the spot. From my original love the Peppermint Patty, to my current favorite their Red Velvet Vixen, I always find what I’m looking for when I get my cupcake fix at Sonja’s: sheer happiness, and an instant pick-me-up. Now after years of countless cupcake dates, catch-up meetings with friends, and self indulgences at Cupcakes by Sonja’s Serendra store, it’s great to know that my favorite cupcake place is finally branching out, and at a venue quite accessible to me at that!
