The Spark Project is mounting Spark Fest, a one-day conference and festival that celebrate and connect creative entrepreneurs, changemakers, and doers in the Philippines. Festival attendees can learn and interact from a curated mix of keynote speakers, panelists, exhibitors, and alumni spark projects.
The festival is happening on June 24, 2017, from 10 am to 10 pm at Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City. Aspiring entrepreneurs can experience the festival and meet the founders behind the most creative startup businesses in the country today.
If learning is more your thing, Spark Fest has ten conference sessions you can attend. “I’m inviting all my favorite creative founders to be speakers for the ten learning sessions I’m curating. They have all influenced and inspired me personally, and I want others to learn from them too,” says Patch, The Spark Project’s founder and CEO.
Conference session attendees can feast on topics like branding, innovation and design, social media, retail, food, social enterprises, the arts, and of course crowdfunding.Creative founders like RJ Ledesma of Mercato Central, world-renowned graphics designer Dan Matutina, ArmiMillare of Up Dharma Down, heritage conservation advocate Ivan Henares, and Reese Fernandez-Ruiz of Rags2Riches are some of the confirmed speakers.
Tickets to the learning sessions are limited and are expected to sell out weeks in advance. All Access Passes are sold at 1,900 and 2,200 pesos. Be sure to you buy your tickets before they sell out. The full schedule of festival activities and talks happening throughout the day can be found at the Spark Fest website, www.sparkfest2017.com/pages/buy-tickets.
“I think anyone who wants to create stuff can learn and be inspired at the festival,” says Patch. “It’s a meeting place for creative minds.”
Last February, this event had its own crowdfunding campaign which raised almost three hundred thousand pesos from its backers. And because of the support they got from the Spark Community, the Spark Fest is finally happening this June.
