This cosplayer definitely made his wedding unforgettable after he and his bride used a full-scale recreation of Final Fantasy VII‘s lead character Cloud Strife’s Buster Sword to cut their wedding cake!
Clow, who is based in Tokyo, shared on Twitter a video clip of the cake cutting. If the background music sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the exact song that plays when Cloud first appears in the RPG!

“Yes, we cut our wedding cake with Cloud’s Buster Sword!” Clow confirmed in a separate tweet as he posed with the weapon.

He also thanked Japanese cosplay prop maker Ariya Max Gamute for the custom-made piece. Can you believe the attention to detail that was given to this prop? It even features Materia orbs—an item from the game which allows a character to cast spells, summon, boost stats and use command abilities.
