In celebration of its 15th anniversary, “Coraline” is set to return to the big screen in Remastered 3D! Laika Studios announced that it will be released this August.
This classic stop-motion animated dark fantasy horror film has been well-loved by both kids and young at heart. “Coraline” was previously re-released for two days in August 2023, which earned $5 million at the box office.
Based on Neil Gaimanโs dark fantasy novella of the same title, “Coraline” follows the story of a girl who finds a secret magical portal to a parallel world, where she discovers an alternate version of her life filled with horrifying mysteries.
It is helmed by Henry Selick, while the voice cast includes Dakota Fanning as Coraline Jones, John Hodgman as Charlie Jones, Teri Hatcher as Mel Jones, Dawn French as Miriam Forcible, and Jennifer Saunders as April Spink, among others.
