Malacañang declared June 15, 2018, Friday, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan).
President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Proclamation No. 514 that made June 15 a regular holiday nationwide.

“Under Proclamation No. 514 signed today, 6 June 2018, the President declared Friday, 15 June 2018, a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of Eidl’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan),” said in the announcement.
Republic Act No. 9177 orders the “National Commission of Muslim Filipinos to supervise the declaration of Eid’l Fitr as a regular holiday and to promulgate the rules and regulations pursuant to its provisions.”
