The curtains for the school year 2020-2021 have finally ended. Subsequently, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (PUPFJPIA) have successfully wrapped up its term with its first-ever virtual Closing Ceremonies with the theme โYUGTO: Tungo sa Kaugmaan at Kahusayan,โ held last August 8 to 14, 2021 at its officialโs Facebook page.ย
The PUPFJPIAโs federation, Thriamvos, together with Real Excellence Online CPA Review and in cooperation with PUPian Lifestyle, Lushly, Glameaur, Keich International, FranchiseManila.com, Motivo Philippines, The Light Bearer, CozyโZola, Illest Philippines, Polarix, Likhain Co, Omorfi PH, Brought with Joy and other sponsors have officially ended the term with its jam-packed event which includes Freshmenโs Cup, PUPFJPIAโs Next Top Model, Virtual Accountalympics, and a webinar.ย
Several first-year students from different local chapters tested out their knowledge from the arduous accounting questions in Freshmenโs Cup. Beauts emerged as they exhibit their modern take on Philippine mythological gods and goddesses in the search for PUPFJPIAโs Next Top Model.ย
In the virtual sports arena–where online game tournaments include Mobile Legends, Valorant, and Call Of Duty: Mobile–PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila, and PUP Sto. Tomas, Batangas managed to dominate the intense gaming sphere.ย
Meanwhile, as this pandemic taught us to adapt in the virtual world, the federation was able to hand webinars that are certainly worthwhile from the get-go of the academic year. To promote financial literacy among our FJPIAns, the Federation offered its last shot of webinar entitled โMove with Courageโ last August 14.
Our crusade for greatness has reached this far. From our Opening Ceremonies, Tax Symposium, Mid-Year Convention, Cyber Accounting Quiz Bee, and our recently concluded Closing Ceremonies, concord still prevailed in every FJPIAn. May this ending pose resurgence, and may the next federation continue to FORTIFY, CONQUER, AND EXULT.ย
