The Company of Ateneo Dancers (CADs) is the premier dance and production management organization of the Ateneo de Manila University. The organization’s performing pool branches out into the contemporary and street division. It is also home to a production staff that is well versed in the fields of house management, creatives, and technical direction. CADs is a community of student artists that fosters a culture of dance production excellence and upholds the values of professionalism and passion.
In line with the vision of elevating dance production as meaningful artistry locally and internationally, CADs introduces Rhythm-in-Blue: Open Stage—a dance competition open to all performers of all styles of dance. As one of CADs’ flagship projects, Rhythm-in-Blue (RiB) will be returning after a two-year hiatus. Previously an inter-organization dance competition, RiB is now open to the dance community outside of Ateneo. It is a celebration of the art of dance that aims to encourage creative and artistic expression.
RiB: Open Stage will be hosting 13 competitors namely, Sunshine park, And Friends, Japox Baturiano, Bawzilog, Sean & Shawn, Kazaokaxi, Bengs & Kyle, Jobert Lachica, All Out PH, Lex Groove, Marts2Go, Kalye Anima, and Bawzmado. Show your support for these competing groups on November 26, 2022, at the Rizal Mini Theater as they take center stage and go all out for the Php25,000 cash prize.
