Comfort Food at Its Finest – Experience It at The Clubhouse
Everyone has their own go-to places to dine in, to meet up with friends in, and to relax and unwind in after a long day of work. Most of us prefer to have a great meal over anything else, though, of course. At The Clubhouse, you will instantly feel a relaxing and homey vibe upon entering the restaurant. A display of ceramics and various trinkets will welcome you on the left, while the opposite wall exhibits a wide array of exquisite vintage photographs.
I found it easy to browse through the menu of The Clubhouse because it is well-categorised. Plus, each food has their own description, which I really appreciate. I was dining with my parents and this made it easier for them since they just had to read the menu instead of ask the server different questions. We ordered Benny’s Classic, Eggs Atlantic, Dip Trio, Cheesy Chicken Parmigiana, Creamy Chicken Mushroom Pesto and Creme Brulee Cake.
The Clubhouse Comfort Food

Benny’s Classic: lean canadian ham and sauteed spinach on an English muffin topped with poached egg and creamy hollandaise sauce. With potato wedges and salad on the side.

Eggs Atlantic: smoked salmon slices and sauteed spinach on an English muffin topped with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. With potato wedges and salad on the side.

Cheesy Chicken Parmigiana: hand breaded chicken breast fillet topped with fresh tomato sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese.
I’m glad that I still had room for dessert afterwards; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to taste the best creme brulee cake I have ever had. Light, feathery icing sandwiched in-between soft chiffon cake and topped with a rich custard and crunchy caramelized sugar. I could eat this all day; one slice would definitely not be enough. It is actually so good that we came back the next day to buy a whole cake to take home.
Despite being picky eaters, my parents loved everything that we ordered. I’m sure this will not be the last time that we eat here. The Clubhouse clearly doesn’t scrimp on ingredients, and the food is well-presented, too. Everything was definitely worth ordering. Their food will remind you of home and the comfort of having a great meal that leaves your palate with memories of your mom’s cooking.
