Literally staging its first run with flying colors, Color Manila Run is back this January 5, 2014 at Taguig City! Run along with the happiest colors of yellow, blue, purple, pink, orange and green powder and embody this rainbow unto the finish line.
Aiming to create the country’s biggest living kaleidescope, it’s the first run here where runners are showered with colored powder in different stations. This one-of-a-kind run gathers both serious athletes, first time runners, and celebrities.
“..I personally felt like it was an ingeniuous way to transition our energies well from merely being activity and festivity-oriented into one of the health and wellness,” says actress and model RicaParelejo-Bonifacio.
With 3K,5K, 10Km available categories, Color Manila Run furthermore encourages the growth of the running community by mixing running with fun and excitement. After the confetti of colored powder, a concert party is waiting for the runners at the finish line, making the big crowd one dynamic living kaleidescope. “We want a unique, innovative experience that you could share with your friends and family members. Fun, but not necessarily limiting it to the usual night club parties.” Says Color Manila’s Business Development Head and CKYN activewear owner Justine Cordero.
With the overwhelming responses from last year’s participants, the event team has already lined up a series of events: Color Manila Nite Run on February 2014, and Color Cebu Run, extending the happiness to another archipelago on March 2014.
