The world’s favorite cookie is now available in a local flavor!!

Pinoys… how do you feel about a coconut-flavored Oreo?!

Mondelez Philippines — formerly Kraft Philippines — has manufactured a Philippine flavor of this well-loved biscuit as part of recent efforts to revamp the brand with the Filipino consumers in mind, according to local news reports.

The coconut-flavored Oreo, called Coconut Delight, has its filling sourced in the country, while the Oreo cookie is sourced from Indonesia, according to the report.

Mondelez Philippines has also released other local flavors under their other brands, as part of their strategy to be a company with “a Filipino heart”, the report says. Tang, for example, is now available in calamansi and dalandan flavors!

With the whole coco water craze around the world, and the sweet, creamy flavor of coconut… seems like an interesting idea!
