Coachella Music Festival Organizers Have Yet to Postpone Event to a Later Date

Amid concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, organizers of the annual Coachella Music Festival have yet to postpone its event that’s scheduled for two consecutive weekends this April 2020 to a much later date.

The delay in announcement is seemingly caused by them double-checking with their lineup of performers on who will be available on the new schedule. According to insiders, Coachella may be eying October dates, starting on October 9.

This year’s Coachella was supposed to take place on April 10-12 and April 17-19. Among the headliners are Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean. It is widely attended by people from all over the world, including our own local celebrities.
