Project Renew Poster

Project Renew (Sustainability)

  • Donation of Mobile waste bins to DPS (Department of Public Service) to help augment their plastic/non-biodegradable waste collection; these are made from upcycled plastic waste (sachets processed by green ants).
  • Acrylic Manila Hero Medals, Loot Bags for DPS team members involved in clean up week.
  • Eco-brick art with thank you messages from public school students of the City of Manila for DPS.

RENEWING THE PURPOSE OF SINGLE-USE PLASTICS

With the help of DPS-Manila Rangers, Project Renew aims to transform plastic waste into trash bins and waste segregation materials to pursue the vision of a clean and sustainable city.

VITAS COMMUNITY, TONDO

A clean-up drive in partnership with the DPS (Department of Public Services) – Manila using new and improved equipment, materials, and safety gear; the project aims to equip DPS-Manila to be able to continue providing their services more safely and efficiently.

VITAS HEALTH CENTER, TONDO

Installation of a disinfecting station, indoor air purifiers with air monitoring systems and outdoor natural air purifying plants in Vitas Health Center; the project aims to improve the air quality of the Vitas Health Center to enhance their health care capabilities catering to 8 Tondo, Manila Barangays.

Turnover of the Litter Boom Collector to the City of Manila in one of its most iconic spots, the Jones Bridge; the project aims to help augment the City of Manila’s body-of-water (Manila Bay, Esteros, etc.) cleaning capabilities.

Planting of 200 Philippine native and endemic trees to create an urban tropical “sakura”; the project is a promotion of the different Philippine native and endemic trees while simultaneously helping to beautify the historic Walled City of Intramuros.
