Kids will soon be back in their classrooms when classes resume on Tuesday, January 3.
The schedule for Christmas break in public schools, originally from December 22 to January 1, was extended one day after President Duterte issued a proclamation declaring December 26 and January 2 as special non-working days.
Private schools, on the other hand, may decide on the schedule of their Christmas break, provided they comply with the 180-day contact between teachers and students.
