As someone who loves coffee and books, I cannot think of a better way to spend my free time than reading a good novel in a cafe. Clara’s Pastries and Cafe is the ideal place to spend those lazy afternoons in because of its perfectly chill atmosphere and because of its amazing menu.
Caramel Frappe, Php155
For my caffeine fix, I had Clara’s Pastries and Cafe’s Caramel Frappe. This refreshingly cool drink topped generously with caramel and whipped cream is the perfect pick-me-up to start your day.
Unlike most traditional cafes, Clara’s Pastries and Cafe also offers a variety of rice dishes. Something to try when you visit Clara’s Pastries and Cafe is their Tapsilog from their All Day Breakfast and their Bacon Wrapped Chicken, which are some of their bestselling dishes.

Creamy Pesto with Chicken, Php155
Their Creamy Pesto with Chicken Pasta is also something you shouldn’t miss. The pesto pasta topped generously with cheese and mixed with chunky chicken pieces hits all the right spots when it comes to comfort food.
Something Clara’s Pastries and Cafe also does really well are their desserts.
Brownies, Php270 (for a box of 6)
Their warm chocolate brownies topped with vanilla ice cream are a dessert lover’s dream.
Assorted Chocolate Chip Cookies, Php350 (for box of 10)
Their freshly baked cookies are also to die for with their soft and gooey centers that are plain addictive.
Of course, dessert isn’t complete without cake. Clara’s Pastries and Cafe outdoes itself with their selection since their menu has everything from regular cakes to cheesecakes and even cupcakes.
Chocolate Cake, Php1000 (Whole Cake)
My personal favorite is their Chocolate Cake which is really moist and just melts in your mouth.
Oreo Cheesecake
The Oreo Cheesecake is also something worth trying when you visit the cafe.
Perhaps what sets Clara’s Pastries and Cafe apart from other cafes is that they also have a bar menu that serves a lot of your favorite beers.

After a hard day at work or school, you and your friends can drop by to loosen up a bit after a particularly stressful day.
Of course, the bar menu is best paired with their appetizers, which are good for sharing over a couple of rounds of drinks with your friends.
