Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Chobits… do any of these titles ring any bells? If you grew up watching anime in the 90s and early 2000s, then you’d definitely be familiar with these beloved shows that come from all-female manga artist group CLAMP!
The group, which officially debuted in 1989, is commemorating its 30th anniversary this year and is treating fans with tons of surprises, starting off with the launch of its CLAMP 30th Anniversary special website where fans from all over the world can enjoy super cool CLAMP content!
There, fans can get access to new comic chapters, share photos of their own CLAMP collections and merchandise, and get updated with the latest news and trends regarding their different titles. But what I’m most thrilled about is the official CLAMP fan shop—specifically, these magical rings inspired by three of the most iconic CLAMP stories ever made.
Made with brass and sparkly rhinestones, these stunning two-ring sets were modeled after the costumes or motifs of different characters of Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, and xxxHOLiC.
The Cardcaptor Sakura one features a dainty design that evokes the magic and charm of the series.
The Magic Knight Rayearth set has three versions in three different colors, each inspired by the main characters Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu.
Meanwhile, the xxxHOLiC ring features a beautiful, bewitching design that incorporates different symbols that appear throughout the manga, such as butterflies, the moon, smoke, and Yuko’s ruby red color.
Marvel at their beauty in the photos below!
You can wear these CLAMP 30th Anniversary Double Rings together or wear them separately on different fingers! Either way, they’re definitely a stylish addition to your everyday looks!
They’re available for pre-order via CLAMP-fans.com for JPY 3,500 (approximately PHP 1,623) or USD 39.99 (approximately PHP 1,934) each. The expected date of release is in January 2021.
