“Cinco” is an inter-batch band competition of St. Paul College Pasig’s High School Department which aims to promote batch unity and unwrap Paulinian talents.
In celebration of Cinco’s fifth year anniversary, the Music Appreciation Club – Instrumentalists, in collaboration with the school’s Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand, launched “Cinco: Unmasked,” where students will be playing songs relating to social awareness.
“In Cinco’s fifth year, we want to go more than the initial objectives of the project,” says Frances Arellano, the Internal Public Relations Officer of the Center for Music – Instrumentalists (CFM-I).
“With students of our age being our target audience, we can showcase Paulinian skills in music, while educating them on the different issues present in the society,” added Cielo Olavario, Vice President of CFM-I.
More than the different student bands performing in the said event, indie OPM bands such as Indayo and Jensen and the Flips will also be performing for the said event.
“Cinco: Unmasked” will be happening on October 24, 2017, 5:00pm-7:30 pm at the Mere Marie Anne De Tilly Convention Hall of St. Paul College Pasig. Ticket prices will range from Php 100-150.
