We’ve all had our assumptions that Captain America was going to die in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ – if not in the first installment, most probably in the second one. This comes after it was revealed that Chris Evans was nearing the end of his on contract to play the awesome superhero.
Well, it seems like Chris really is hanging up his shield after tweeting an emotional message following the wrap-up of the second installment of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. The tweet reads: “Officially wrapped on ‘Avengers 4’. It was an emotional day, to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.” Here is the original tweet:

Chris has been playing the role of Steve Rogers aka Captain America since the first Captain America movie, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ came out in 2011. Chris is now 37 years old and has played the character in the following other MCU movies: ‘The Avengers’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
