Established in the year 2008, the Chemical Engineering Students Summit Philippines (ChESSPH) was the first chemical engineering summit in the country. A year after its first event, it was awarded as the Best Service Project in the Engineering Organization Excellence award in 2009. Driven by its commitment in providing an avenue for chemical engineering students nationwide to come together and celebrate the advancement of chemical engineering in the country, ChESSPH has grown from its one-day event and expanded to its now three-day event which includes various seminars, workshops and plant tours. Each year, ChESSPH aims to expand the horizon which chemical engineering students see the field by inviting professionals speak and share their experiences in hopes of inspiring the next generation to further innovate and bring forth a new era of chemical engineering.
Now on its twelfth year, ChESSPH continues its commitment of providing an avenue for chemical engineering students nationwide to come together and expand their knowledge on the field of chemical engineering as well as equip them with the necessary tools for the pursuit of their future careers. This year, we aim to strengthen those roots and go beyond through a series of seminars and workshops that aim to further showcase the potential of being more than a chemical engineer by shaping a new perspective. These seminars and workshops would showcase opportunities to open up about current issues, trends and innovations in chemical engineering. With over 1800 participants since 2012 from NCR, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, ChESSPH continues to grow to reach new heights. ChESSPH continues its commitment to service to chemical engineering students in preparing them for today’s challenges and possibilities in the field.
