A few months ago, it was announced that journalist Atom Araullo is making his acting debut with Citizen Jake, the film directed by iconic filmmaker Mike de Leon.
In a series of Facebook posts, the official page of Citizen Jake shared some stills of the upcoming film and we got it for you below!
Citizen Jake follows Araullo as a journalist named Jake Herrera who has to deal with local politics.
De Leon is the acclaimed film director known for the classics Kisapmata, Sister Stella L. and Batch ‘81.
Citizen Jake is said to be his comeback film, and it will be star-studded. Araullo will be joined by Luis Alandy, Gabby Eigenmann, Lou Veloso, Nonie Buencamino, Victor Neri, Alan Paule, Raquel Villavicencio, Malu de Guzman, Ruby Ruiz, Nanding Josef, Anna Luna, Richard Quan, Teroy Guzman, Max Collins, Cherie Gil and Dina Bonnevie.
There’s no word when the film will come out.
