Our hearts may have gone on after the climax of the 1997 film Titanic, but there’s still a special place for Celine Dion, who sang the iconic theme song “My Heart Will Go On.” Now, we’ll get to channel our inner Jack and Rose as the singer will be in Manila for a concert!
Dion will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 19 as part of an Asia-Pacific tour that will span three months from June to August. She will be performing in many cities for the first time, like Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, and Taipei.
The singer was scheduled to perform here in 2014, but she had to cancel to tend to her sick husband, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016.
Dion is known for her powerful vocals in hits like “My Heart Will Go On,” “Because You Loved Me,” “It’s All Coming Back to Me,” and “All by Myself.”
Tickets to her Manila concert will be on sale starting January 18.
