Celebrity Ink Tattoos: Award Winning Tattoo Parlor in Phuket Thailand

So when getting a tattoo, you need to make sure you go to a place you can trust. Flying to a different country has long been a practice for tattoo aficionados who want their artwork done by a specific artist.

In Thailand, tattoos seem to be much more a norm than other places I’ve been to. It seemed as if those without at tattoo were the minority in this country. Around every corner you’ll find a rinky-dink tattoo shop. But let me tell you now, you don’t ever want to go to a cheap place to get your ink done. Not only is there a posibility of getting a horrible artist leave a terrible drawing on your body forever, but the chances of getting infections or diseases could also creep up on you.

For me, he set me up with their global award winning tattoo artist named “Lay”.
Lay graduated for the National Faculty of Fine Art and started painting and drawing at the age of 10. He started his tattooing career at the age of 21 and got his 1st tattoo award at the Ninth Gate Tattoo Competition in Australia back in 2012. He also won both the 1st and 2nd prize spots at the Queensland State Tattoo Convention, along with heaps of other Thailand based awards.
I asked them to draw me a mixture of waves on my arm, around my original tattoo. I wanted to get waves as I’ve always loved the ocean and the water, especially as I lived in San Diego and went surfing virtually everyday.
And after sitting for six hours straight (I wanted to get it done in a day), here’s what we came up with!

I’m more than excited and happy about the results! Best of all, I didn’t have to sit there worrying about how my tattoo would come out as I knew these guys had a good reputation!
