Here’s what our local celebrities had to say about it.
My first thought when everything was shaking was S#!T di ko kasama yung mag ama ko ?

Strong earthquake caused the water in this pool to move around. Felt a distinctive P wave and S wave too! Hope everyone is safe! #Earthquake pic.twitter.com/YSehXcKZXq

So earlier during the earthquake, Khalil and I were inside a mall at Makati. Is it weird that they didn’t ask us to evacuate the building after the earthquake? Or is that normal? Or baka naman na praning lang talaga ako kasi ang lakas lang talaga nung lindol ?

Growing up in Canada, where earthquakes are kinda rare, this was the first time I’ve ever truly experienced an #earthquake. I wanted to capture the moment on film in case the worst happened, someone might find the footage and know what happened to us. Praying for no after shock! pic.twitter.com/KNc5jzgLnf

We were in the middle of a scene when we felt the quake. I grabbed Tito Pip’s hand so we can stay clear of walls & trees. We tried to contact our families right away to check on them. Yes I’m panicky. But better safe than sorry. Stay safe guys! #lindol

We were at the rooftop of our set here in New Manila when the Magnitude of 5.8 #Earthquake happened. We were all in shock and went downstairs right after. We’re all fine now. Take care, you guys. Check on your families at home.
