This summer, The Mactan Newtown transforms into a vibrant showcase of color, flavor, and tradition as it presents Cebu Mangoes Festival 2025—a month-long celebration of the island’s most iconic fruit. From May 16 to June 8, the festival invites families, food lovers, and culture seekers to enjoy mango-infused feasts, lively parades, and joyful moments that celebrate community, creativity, and Filipino pride.
The Mactan Alfresco offers a vibrant, open-air dining experience where guests can enjoy a diverse selection of local dishes throughout the festival.
More than a food event, the Cebu Mangoes Festival 2025 is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Cebu’s sweetest export—the mango. It brings together the community, food lovers, and culinary professionals, alongside residents, tourists, and local enterprises, in a shared celebration of tradition, sustainability, and island identity.
“This festival is our way of honoring Cebu’s unique mango heritage while creating meaningful moments of togetherness through food, fun, and Filipino spirit,” said Malou Kuinisala, General Manager of Mactan Alfresco in The Mactan Newtown.
