ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCI France Philippines) celebrates yet another milestone as it commemorates its 30th anniversary this 2018.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  The history of the organization dates back to July 14, 1919 when the Chamber first opened in the premises of the French Consulate in Manila. The Chamber has gone through closures and rebirths throughout the years and wars. In 1988, four founding members, including founding President Philippe Gauthier, launched Le Club French Chamber of Commerce, thus the start of the inauguration to its 30th year. What started then as an informal meet up of French businessmen where they would talk about their respective experiences, challenges, and exchange information about the business environment in the Philippines, grew to be a fully functioning Chamber of Commerce recognized and affiliated with CCI France International- a network of 123 French Chambers in 92 countries around the world.

Today, Le Club French Chamber of Commerce is known as the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines or CCI France Philippines. CCI France Philippines has 120 members and operates as a bilateral entity not only assisting French companies and entrepreneurs in the Philippines but also Philippine companies.

Truly, CCI France Philippines has made great leaps from creating a platform for business partnerships through its signature networking events to offering valuable business services to its members and companies looking at finding new opportunities in the Philippines. From business set up, a fully serviced incubator, market research, and organizing exhibitions and business forums for its members, CCI France Philippines has continuously strived to provide businesses with valuable assistance.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  The 30th year of the CCI France Philippines is also a year of leaps in terms of promoting inclusion and diversity in business. With its Gender Initiative Program, CCI France Philippines gathers the big thinkers and doers of businesses as it starts a dialogue in promoting equal opportunities in businesses and career advancements regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, social and economic backgrounds, ethnicity and physical capabilities.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  To endow this milestone, CCI France Philippines holds its annual gala on November 23, 2018 at the Harbor Garden Tent of the Sofitel Philippines Plaza.

La Soirรฉe will be a celebration of CCI France Philippinesโ€™ 30th anniversary and Franceโ€™s renowned bounty of food, wine, and culture. For this occasion, CCI France Philippines is bringing the best of France as it flies over 2000L of wine and 200 kilos of cheese and charcuterie carefully selected to showcase the best of the different regions of France.
