Another cathartic evening of music and drinks awaits you at Tipsy Pig this October 15. The local favorite gastropub is bringing yet another round of our country’s finest musicians, Rico Blanco, featuring The Good Times and Never the Strangers!
Rico Blanco, songwriter and former frontman of Rivermaya, was initially known for his iconic 2008 sound as a solo artist through “Antukin”, “Yugto”, and “Your Universe” – among many other gems. And while much of his artistic acclaim owes to that era, the artist has resurfaced once again with “Nagbabalik,” his recent collaboration with IV of Spades earlier this year and has continued to redefine OPM up to this day.
Ever since Rico Blano left Rivermaya, however, the country hasn’t ceased to produce Filipino bands to watch out for. The Good Times and Never the Strangers have something new to add to the table. Since their emergence through their singles “Just Say It” (The Good Times), “Alive” and “Bago Mahuli ang Lahat” (Never the Strangers), they have left the crowd craving for more.
And the crowd will surely get their fill as Rico Blanco, The Good Times, and Never the Strangers come together for a joint gig! Catch them grace the Tipsy Pig Timog branch this October 15, 2019 (Tuesday), served with the pub’s signature combination of great-tasting food and brews and cocktails. Drink and Eat, as the Tipsy Pig likes to say, but you’ll have yourself listening to great music too.
