The Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Inc. brings you the National Chemistry Students’ Congress (NCSC) 2018 this coming April 7 to 8, 2018 at the UP PGH Science Hall (Day 1) and UP PGH Nurses’ Home Social Hall (Day 2).
NCSC 2018, with the theme Catalyze: Accelerating the Pace of Science and Technology Through Chemistry, aims to uphold Chemistry as an instrument in the building of a scientific Philippine community, to foster intellectual inquiry, and to inspire competence among the Filipino youth in the field of Chemistry. This year’s NCSC is a two-day event which includes a series of talks from various notable speakers who are experts in their respective fields in Chemistry, an undergraduate research poster presentation competition, and PACSiklaban, an intercollegiate Chemistry quiz bee competition.
The Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Inc. (PACS, Inc.) is a dynamic and visionary national student organization of self-directing and conscientious Filipino Chemistry students committed to upholding excellence in the study and application of Chemistry. As major catalysts in nation building, PACS, Inc. have rendered service to the scientific community by organizing academic events aimed to promote the advancement of Chemistry as a key towards national development.
