Make it Makati announced on Facebook that the Dela Rosa Carpark 2 will soon be converted into a “vibrant mix-used development.”

“Get ready to open up to a refreshed urban experience, Makatizens!” Make it Makati wrote.

According to the post, the key features of the redevelopment project are the following: a park with lush greens, an active space, and a retail space. Once finished, it will foster a dynamic and thriving environment for those who are working or strolling around the area.

With the redevelopment starting on June 1, 2024, the AUV terminal at the Dela Rosa 2 Carpark was moved to the Dela Rosa 1 Carpark.

The New Headquarters

Moreover, the project will also feature a new office building, which will serve as the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), as well as a new Ayala Land Premier condominium.

The new 45-story premium office tower, featuring seven levels of basement parking, is designed with sustainability in mind. It will be equipped with an energy-efficient glass facade to enhance environmental performance.

Through this project, BPI seeks to achieve three global sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, and EDGE) establishing its new headquarters as a certified “green building.”

The contemporary design can be credited to leading design firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in collaboration with Aidea Philippines Inc.

Owned by BPI, the development will be led by Ayala Land Inc., with Makati Development Corp. as the general contractor.

The new headquarters will be completed in the last quarter of 2029 while the opening of the building is expected in 2030
