As the photography industry in the Philippines continues to grow popular among the youth, so does the need for different mediums of education. This November, four young emerging photographers, each with a lot of talent, insight and unique capabilities to offer, have teamed up in partnership with ENVY Photography and Canon Philippines to create CAPTURE, a photography workshop that aims to strengthen the basic foundation of the craft and instill creativity and encourage aspiring photographers in pursuing their passion.

CAPTURE will feature talks from industry professionals such as Jeff Ong (@jeffong_), Kevin Brent (@kevinbrentt), Sundae Cruz (sundaecruzphotos) and ENVY’s very own, Nina Villanueva (@envy.

According to Nina Villanueva of ENVY Photography “Everyone has their own style and so by going back to basics, we aim to strengthening and reinforce each participants foundation in photography which we believe will help them produce better work but at the same time retain their own style. Aside from a refresher on basic concepts, we will be sharing our personal techniques as well as first hand experiences working in the industry. From basic studio lighting, developing and planning your own fashion editorial to professional photo retouching, CAPTURE welcomes all photographers of various levels, not just beginners.”

The whole day workshop will take place on November 19 and 26 from 10AM – 5PM at ENVY Creatives Studio in Makati, in which participants will also have the chance to shoot and apply techniques learned.

It is open to all camera users, hobbyists and photographers wanting to learn something new and improve their skills and knowledge.
