Earlier today, Netflix posted a teaser of the anime version of One Piece. That’s right, the 23-year old ongoing adventure of Luffy and his gang of pirates will soon be available to binge-watch on the streaming app!
Squeezing the first two arcs of One Piece into sixty seconds stretched our editors to the breaking point, but the results are worth it. The East Blue and Alabasta sagas coming soon to Netflix. @ToeiAnimation pic.twitter.com/u1h5m14Jri

The 60-second clip revealed that the first two arcs are coming to Netflix on June 12… but only in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. As for us in the Philippines and the rest of the world, we will have to wait for further announcements. Hopefully, soon!

For anime newbies like me, do not be disappointed as the East Blue and Alabasta sagas are already 130 episodes!!! (I mentioned that One Piece is 23 years old and still running, right?) So, if we’re still in quarantine by then, it will be the perfect time to catch up.
