“Call Me Mother” Trailer Is Out—And It’s The Reunion Film That Will Make Us Cry

Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre are set to make moviegoers cry as they mark their reunion project after a decade with “Call Me Mother.”

On December 2, Star Cinema finally unveiled the official trailer for “Call Me Mother,” which is one of the official entries to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

The trailer offers a glimpse into the story of Twinkle (played by Vice Ganda), who is in the process of formally adopting Angelo as her son. However, Mara (played by Nadine), Angelo’s biological mother, unexpectedly returns and begins forming a bond with him.

Directed by Jun Lana, the film also marks Vice Ganda’s second project with the critically acclaimed director following their first collaboration, “And the Breadwinner Is…”

Apart from Vice Ganda and Nadine, the comedy-drama film also reunites fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” alumni Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo, Esnyr, Klarisse De Guzman, and Shuvee Etrata.

You can watch “Call Me Mother” in cinemas on December 25.
