Remember how much I loved the new Fantastic Four movie? I’m being sarcastic. I absolutely hated it. And apparently, a lot of other people did, too. So much so that it may have affected the sequel that was originally set to be released in June 2017.
While no word has been said as to whether taking Fantastic Four 2 off of Fox’s release schedule means that the film will never happen or whether it will simply be rescheduled for another date while they (hopefully) rethink their previous choices, we are still hoping that Fox gives up the rights to the team and hands them back over to where the real magic happens: Marvel Studios.
The latest Fantastic Four movie only made $167 million worldwide. The production budget is said to have been $120 million. Let’s all hope for a better future for Fantastic Four, shall we?
