Transformersย fans, we have great news for you: thereโs going to be a new film in the franchise and it will focus on Bumblebee, the lovable car robot in the franchise.
The trailer has been released and you can watch it below:
Bumblebeeย wil be set in 1987 and will see the titular character hiding out in a small California beach town as a yellow Volkswagen Beetle.
Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura toldย Entertainment Weekly, โBumblebeeโs a very loving character.Heโs got a lot of heart, so of course the idyllic life of these two is interrupted by the evil Decepticons. And how are they going to be able to deal with the problem without Optimus and without everybody else?

The film will be released in December 2018 and will star John Cena withย Hailee Steinfeld, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and Pamela Adlon. This will be the firstย Transformersย film that will not be directed by Michael Bay. Taking on the role of director will be Travis Knight.
