NCSAAW, also known as National Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Week, is a national event every February in which TUGON Ateneo takes part in. It seeks to raise awareness about our advocacy against child sexual abuse on campus through interactive booths that provide activities for students to engage in our cause. These include pinwheel selling, open area sign-ups, a bruised for abused booth, a zero dignidad booth, and an art display by survivors of abuse.

NCSAAW closes with a Culminating Day where over two hundred children from various foundations and public schools are invited to a whole day affair to learn about different skills, enjoy themselves, and bond with students from Ateneo. This event will feature different booths, games, performances, and even a pinwheel parade with the kids at the very end!

This year’s theme, “Bukas”, is a Filipino word that means both open and tomorrow. It aims to impart a message of hope to the children by opening their eyes to the reality of brighter days ahead. #TugonNCSAAW #NCSAAWBukas
