Bugoy Cariño has taken to Twitter to respond to the backlash he’s been getting since revealing the face of his baby girl on Instagram on his birthday.

He responded in particular to local vlogger Angel Dei’s expression of frustration regarding his relationship with girlfriend EJ Laure which she claims is “wrong and shouldn’t be tolerated.”
“I can’t believe some people are defending this!” she added.
Bugoy then quote-retweeted her and said, “O wag nyo daw idefend g na g si ate. Opo alam namin na may mali sa ginawa namen, pero para ijudge kami basta basta? Ibang usapan na po yun.”
He clarified that people don’t know the full story and that they shouldn’t judge him for what they know, adding that he’s proud to have taken full responsibility for his actions.
“Hindi nyo po alam buong story namin. At least ako kahit bata pa pinanindigan ko lahat ng responsibilidad ko at hindi ko po tinakbuhan,” he shared.

The former Goin’ Bulilit star and member of all-male dance troupe Hashtag turned 18 on September 3, celebrating with his family at home. The photo comes as a surprise to fans and followers of the couple, especially when EJ, a UAAP volleyball player, previously denied rumors of her pregnancy during her two-year hiatus from playing the sport.
