Buffet Dining at Spiral of Sofitel Manila: L’Epicerie and Chocolaterie

Having cheese overload yet? I know I’m not. But at some point I had to stop because bite size as they may be, they were quite filling especially with some crackers and breads. To maximize your cheese experience though, I suggest ordering at least a glass of wine. This trolley below goes around Spiral to offer their drinks to guests.

After I finished my cheese adventure, I was so curious about the Spiral’s Chocolaterie atelier. It is one of the ateliers that Spiral is proud about. This is where you can see the chocolatiers showcase their expertise in molding, mixing and creating different types of chocolates for Spiral’s dessert offering and some even for take home in case you cannot get enough of the Spiral experience. With complete choices of dark, milk and white chocolates, the Chocolaterie is able to produce pralines, truffles and artisanal chocolates for guests of Spiral to enjoy.

Aside from the delicious spread, the ambiance was impeccable. From the design, fixtures, decorations, to the spacing and lighting, everything was well thought and designed by Spin Design Studio of Japan. I am amazed that even if the space can accommodate more people, Spiral was able to provide good enough spacing from each tables for guests to be comfortable and enjoy a lovely meal. I do not even have to comment about the service because it has always been top-notched, given that Spiral is very busy everyday.

And, just to make the people in your life feel special, bring home one of their beautiful baskets which you can find just a few steps from the Spiral’s reception. Share with them your wonderful experience because I know, we did. We would definitely go back to indulge in other meals that we were not able to sample because obviously, with 21 ateliers, it is quite impossible for someone to be able to have a taste of it all in one go. I suggest you call or use their website for reservations because sometimes they are not able to accommodate walk-ins due to high volume of guests.
