In celebration of 70 years of central banking and 25 years of service, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will be selling 10,000-peso and 500-peso commemorative coins.
The 10,000-peso commemorative coin will be available at a price of P127,500 per piece. On the other hand, the 500-peso commemorative coin is priced at P3,500 per piece.
In order to buy any of these coins, you should shoot an email to anniversarycoins@bsp.gov.ph on or before January 15. They will be made available on a “first mail-in, first listed” basis. If you plan on getting any of these coins, you need to mention which coin you plan on getting, which BSP branch you want to pick it up, and your contact details.
A confirmation email will be sent to buyers.
Take note that neither of the coins is of legal tender.
