There’s no doubt that Brooke Shields is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Hence, it’s not surprising at all that she would capture the attention of many men, including the US President himself.
The Blue Lagoon actress shared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Tuesday that Donald Trump once asked her out, and revealed the pickup line he used that is, well, rather cringe-worthy.
The line? According to Brooke, “He said, ‘I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man and people would love it.'”
Brooke, 52, revealed that the 71-year-old real estate mogul asked her out “right after” he divorced his second wife, Marla Maples, in 1999 over the phone.
The actress declined Trump, and told him, “I have a boyfriend. He’s not really going to be happy about it.”
The revelation came during a segment on the show where Brooke had to guess who she was photographed with throughout her career. A black-and-white photo of her beside the former TV host showed up, where Brooke pretended to gag and say, “I can’t even speak”, after seeing the photo.
