Ever wanted to improve, elevate, and explore your media and communication skills? In line with the mission to head different campaigns and services forwarding the rights and welfare of over 1000 students of the college, the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication Student Council proudly presents: BroadConvention: Breaking Borders. BroadConvention is a three-day workshop and talk especially designed for media students and production enthusiasts alike. It aims to expose its participants to the basic and advanced skills and techniques in broadcasting.
The UP CMCSC is the highest representative body of the students of UP CMC. The college houses five departments: Journalism, Broadcast Communication, Communication Research, Film, and Graduate Studies.
The UP CMCSC heads different campaigns, programs and services which forward the rights and welfare of over 1000 students of the college.
This year, the Broadcast Communication Representatives and Batch Representatives have created an initiative to ultimately expose broadcasting students and enthusiasts to the different and unique fields in media through our very first BroadConvention.
By inviting notable speakers and lecturers from the various fields of media, the CMCSC aspires to encourage and further inspire students and production enthusiasts to pursue their careers in media.
BroadConvention is a free event, open to all curious to enter the world of broadcasting. This will take place in the College of Mass Communication, University of the Philippines, Diliman from February 22-24, 2017.
