UP Broadcasting Association celebrates its 49th anniversary in a full-blown week, with the theme “Shatter Illusions.” An event for the youth and by the youth, the 49th edition of Broad Ass Week serves as a venue for young aspiring broadcasters to showcase their different talents and passions through events ranging from an exhibit and college food fair for students to a massive party in one of the most prominent clubs in the country.
The weeklong festivities are open to individuals, organizations, and companies who are generally interested in the field of media and communication, and are geared towards creating a responsible and socially-aware generation, allowing them closer interaction and discourse.
The event on April 30 – May 4 will serve as a primary avenue for UP BROAD ASS to express its own advocacy and passion in broadcast communication media by sharing its work and putting the products of its yearlong efforts in display. The week will end with HIGH DEF, our anniversary party, on May 4, 2018 at XX XX, Makati from 8:00 pm onwards.
Broad Ass Week is a celebration of UP Broadcasting Association’s 49 years of gathering passionate individuals and producing some of the most illustrious names in the industry. This year, Broad Ass Week wants to shatter illusions imposed on the community from a personal to the social level.
