The boys are no strangers to their Southeast Asian fans especially the Philippines. They were here back in their glory days before the band split up. Filipino fans warmly welcomed them in October 2001 as they performed their mellow love tunes in a cozy stage setting with lamps surrounding them at the Araneta Coliseum and Waterfront Cebu City Hotel. In 2002, the band decided to split after the decision of Paul Marazzi to depart due to personal issues.

Eight years after the band broke up, the three of them reunited and released the band’s fourth studio album titled “Waiting For Daylight” which was released exclusively in Norway. Since its release, the album peaked at #1 on the Norwegian Albums Chart.

A1 was formed in 1998. They were signed to Columbia Records in 1999 and immediately released four singles within the same year. From their second album “The A List”, the singles “Same Old Brand New You” and “Take On Me” reached the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart. They charmed their British fans and both of their albums were certified Gold in the UK. While their third album “Make It Good” was released with a more mature acoustic sound, the reception was not that huge but it took a while for fans to appreciate the new vibe. One of the singles “Caught In The Middle” had a French version which was recorded with singer Eve Angeli and it became the most played song on French radio for eight years.

I’m a senior Management student from the University Of Asia And the Pacific. I’m an avid fan of horror/gore movies and hardcore/scream/rock music. I love anything of the arts – music, food, photography, fashion, poetry, movies, etc. I run an online bakeshop called Baked Lunchbox which I hope to be a real bakery soon! (to know more about it, head over to https://bakedlunchbox.tumblr.com/ & https://www.facebook.com/BakedLunchbox) I still dream of attending every concert of my favorite bands, meet and hang out with them, and just simply be around the music scene. Alive and on a journey to finding my forté.
