Senator Manny Pacquiao and his family have been asked to adhere to strict self-quarantine by Barangay Dasmariñas after a photo of himself with Senator Koko Pimentel went viral.
The two senators were allegedly “partying together”, which became a cause for concern for many residents as Pimentel recently tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a letter to the senator, Barangay Dasmariñas homeowners addressed him: “You have been identified as a Person Under Monitoring after the picture of you and Koko Pimentel in your house seen partying together went viral. Many of your colleagues in Senate have been identified to be COVID positive. Therefore, you have to be quarantined at your own house.”
“For your own family and household’s safety, please have yourself self-quarantined. STAY HOME. No one, including any of your household, can come out. If you need something, please call the barangay. We can procure things for you and send it to your doorstep.”
“This was the recommendation of doctors from Makati Medical Center who is also a resident here. And recommended by Makati Health Department,” it continues.

The letter ends with: “Please be a model example.”
Rappler additionally reports that Barangay Dasmariñas has confirmed that security is on standby at the Pacquiao residence.
