Brewing Again: The Manila Coffee Festival

After a two-year hiatus, The Manila Coffee Festival, the Philippines’ pioneer annual coffee lifestyle event will once again treat coffee enthusiasts to a vibrant mingling of coffee, food, art, music, and local tourism, at exactly where coffee was introduced in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial era through the Galleon Trade, Intramuros, on April 29-May 1, 4PM-10PM.

Organized by the Intramuros Administration (IA), Coffee Heritage Project, and The Coffee Science Center, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM), the three-day event will feature coffee retail, exhibits, demos and workshops, art shows, live music, local food and tourism, eco-friendly products, and fun pocket activities.

 

It will also continue to showcase Philippine coffee as one of the best in the world and Filipino coffee growers as the artisans of the coffee industry.

SINGLE ORIGIN BAR. Discover the Philippines in cups of coffee. Presented by growers, roasters, and brewers from different parts of the country, festival attendees get the opportunity to have a brew of the indigenous kind.

 

PHILIPPINE COFFEE: A CASE FOR CONSERVING OUR COFFEE HERITAGE. In today’s world, coffee is more than just a beverage, it’s a way of life. Join us as we look back on the history of coffee in the Philippines and discuss its important role in defining who we are as a people.

 

Tickets are at 150 php inclusive of entrance fee to Fort Santiago, access to Single 

Origin Bar, priority registration for workshop or talk, and tranvia ride from designated pick-up points to Fort Santiago.
